Possible Finance
Possible Finance is a financial product designed to help underserved communities build credit. This motion design campaign brought their brand story to life — showcasing the Possible Card and app experience through dynamic animation, 3D design, and intentional storytelling.
Purpose:
The purpose of this motion design was to visually communicate the value and mission of Possible Finance — a product built to help people with limited or damaged credit access fair financial tools. The goal was to make their brand feel approachable, modern, and trustworthy while highlighting the simplicity and impact of their card and app.
Overview and Goal:
This project was a self-initiated passion project created to explore motion design storytelling within the fintech space. The goal was to design a campaign-style animation that could realistically represent how a brand like Possible Finance might communicate their product benefits — focusing on clarity, accessibility, and visual energy. The animation was built to demonstrate the full creative pipeline from concept through final delivery.
Creative Steps:
- Research & Brand Study — Studied the Possible Finance brand identity, color palette, and tone of voice to inform creative decisions and maintain authenticity.
- Concept & Storyboarding — Developed the visual narrative and motion flow through storyboards, establishing scene transitions and pacing before production.
- 3D Card Design — Built a 3D model of the Possible Card and mapped 2D card artwork onto the object to create a realistic, dimensional product reveal. Programs used: Adobe After Effects, Photoshop
- Motion Design Production — Animated all scenes using kinetic typography, easing-based transitions, and particle-style effects to create a dynamic, brand-aligned campaign. Program used: Adobe After Effects
- Audio Design — Selected and mixed background music and sound effects to reinforce the emotional tone and rhythm of the animation. Programs used: Adobe Audition, Adobe After Effects
Behind the Scenes:
Every scene in this animation was built with intention. The behind-the-scenes clips below reveal the source material and techniques used to achieve key moments — from parallax effects to 3D card mapping.
This image was slightly modified in Photoshop to create a parallax effect in After Effects.
2D images of the Possible Card were mapped onto a 3D object to create a dynamic, three-dimensional effect.
